Mix dye into the wax when the wax is heated before adding wax to the lamp.

The ambient lighting and type of bulb used in the lamp base will affect the color appearance. Colors appear differently when cooled versus when melted and flowing in a lamp. Please see the "Wax Dyes in Use" page available under the "Instructions & Tips" menu. Or click here.

If you are looking for a specific shade, we recommend blending the three primary colors according to a color chart to get your desired shade.

Please note that our wax dyes are specifically blended for use with our wax. You can add as much as desired to our wax without affecting its flow. However, we cannot guarantee the results with other manufacturers' Lava Lamp wax.

Warning: DO NOT heat over 175 degrees Fahrenheit, as it may cause the color to fade, leach into the water, and/or change the flow of the lamp.

NOTE: Recommended amount for best performance of True Black is 1 tab per Pint of wax

Shipping Policy:

Our blended wax, dyes, chemicals, parts, etc. ship exclusively with UPS and are picked up once a week on Wednesday (unless specified otherwise).

All of our merchandise is printed to order and will ship between 2-4 weeks.

However, there may be delays due to extreme weather.

Please note, that if you purchase an item that is currently "out of stock" there will be additional delays.

All non-merchandise items ship from Illinois, USA.
