Master Fluid Recipes

Lamps prior to 2003 Master Fluid’s recipe has Surfactants, and a substantial amounts of propylene glycol and/or glycerin to adjust the density. It also had additional chemicals to maintain the PH, Chemical maintenance, and antimicrobial properties of the filtered water.

Lamps from 2003-2013 Master Fluid recipes have Surfactants, and a slight amount of propylene glycol to adjust the density as these globes since they varied manufacturers, suppliers, and formulas.

Lamps made after 2014 Master Fluid recipe is simply Surfactant and distilled water.
