Master Fluid Recipes
Lamps prior to 2003 Master Fluid’s recipe has Surfactants, and a substantial amount of propylene glycol and/or glycerin to adjust the density. It also had additional chemicals to maintain the filtered water's PH, Chemical maintenance, and antimicrobial properties.
Lamps from 2003-2013 Master Fluid recipes have Surfactants, and a slight amount of propylene glycol to adjust the density of these globes since they varied manufacturers, suppliers, and formulas.
Lamps made after 2014 Master Fluid recipe are simply Surfactant and distilled water.
